I cracked a molar last night and they worked through their lunch hour today to help me. They've also been great for routine stuff like cleanings. Highly recommend!

What an amazing dentist office. They got me in right away for x-rays and to give me antibiotics for a broken tooth. No fault of his own Dr. McConnell sr. couldn’t take it out after trying to get me numb for half an hour. He did recommend an oral surgeon. The staff was very kind and helped calm my nerves and did great with my son when he went for a regular check up. Clean facilities and doesn’t feel so sterile and scary as some other dentists do. Highly recommend.

I had a positive first time experience! I had a toothache on Saturday where most places were closed and they were able to squeeze me in on the same day! They were so friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable there. I plan on making this my permanent place to go for my dental care.
My wife has been going here for some time. I have yet to see him. He seems to truly care about his patients and goes the extra mile to ensure they are happy. The staff is also very polite and they all actually remeber patients names.
When I arrived they got me in and out. Very satisfied with the prompt service!

Had a TMJ issue and Dr McConnell saw me right away. He was thorough, took an x-ray and explained my problem and what I would needed to do for it. I left after 15 minutes and stopped by the front desk to see what I owed and they told me - No Charge. Wow, don’t see that kind of service very much these days.

After moving to Tooele, UT I chose McConnell Dental and after muiltiple visits it was the right choice. The staff is friendly and they are willing to work out payment plans if your in a bind. I had to get several fillings and a crown and I have zero complaints about the work that has been done so far. Definetly would recomend them!
Great experience always friendly and on top of everything
I had an emergency and Dr. Jamie McConnell went in on a Saturday to help me. He was very kind and never once complained about being there, although I felt bad needing him on a weekend. He took his time and explained everything to me, kept checking how I was doing and answered all my questions. After, he called both Sunday and Monday to check on me and make sure I was doing OK. When a doctor is willing to take their personal time to check in on a patient or help them, while being kind and thoughtful, they are a 10- star doctor in my opinion.

The staff at McConnell Dental is amazing. Between the front office, the hygienist, the assistants, and the doctors, I always feel like I’m part of the family!!!
Such a sweet and kind staff. However, I felt like I was more at a doctor’s office than I was at the dentist. They took my blood pressure. They were very thorough. So much that the hygenist pointed out all of the scars on my face and asked where they came from and then she wrote it down. It took up most of my appointment. I didn’t get time for a cleaning. They suggested a deep clean. Instead of them wanting to do a whole mouth deep clean in one appointment, they wanted to split the cleaning appointments in half. One appointment for half of my mouth and another appointment for the other half. So I will have a total of 3 appointments. Nobody really has time for all of that. This is new to me because most dentist clinics don’t do this. I have never had anyone take my blood pressure at a dentist appointment before. I have never had anyone take notes on the scars are markings on my face. My husband gets deep cleanings all the time at a different clinic. They clean his whole mouth in one appointment not two. It’s very different. At least I know they care. They were extremely kind. So that is a plus!👍🏽
I was an out of town visitor with an urgent problem. My sister recommended Dr McConnell. I called for an appointment and was able to get the same day. The staff was great. Dr McConnell explained all options available to me. Thorough recommendations to deal with my problem as my stay here was not long enough for a permanent fix. He advised me to call “him” if my problem got worse before my return home and he had a plan to help. I left the office relieved and confident they would be there if I needed them. Thank you.

Really nice and professional and didn't blow smoke or try to take me for everything I've got reasonable priced and I almost didn't even feel the extraction it was almost pain free compared to what I could remember of it hurting pretty bad.i really like this place and McConnell great guy from what I can see would recommend anyone looking for good price and just good at what he does for sure no questions there.ill be back for sure.

The staff is very friendly and professional. They make going to the dentist as pleasant as possible. My appointment today was much longer than planned. There were some problems with equipment used in my implant procedure. At all times the dentist and the staff remained focused and patient as they worked through the problems encountered. There was a good outcome.

Everyone there is amazing to be around, knows what they’re doing, and works together so cohesively; it’s like a well-oiled machine. I’ve been a pt. of both of the dentists there and I have nothing negative to say. I even had to bring one of my children once because my babysitter fell through. They took it in stride and weren’t bothered at all. I will only stop attending McConnell Dental if I move.

TL;DR: Dr. McConnell and his team do great work at making you feel safe, informed, and confident! I would happily recommend him to friends and family. This was my second time at the McConnell office, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I went in feeling anxious about some tooth sensitivity thinking it was something bigger than it was. Jessie at the front desk was so helpful in getting me in as soon as possible and working with my schedule for future appointments- she never seemed bothered when I asked for more help. Grace walked me through every step of the x-rays and made me feel comfortable even when it’s a pretty uncomfy procedure. Dr. McConnell came in to go through the x-rays and was detailed with the explanations, gave me his undivided attention, wasn’t in a rush, made me feel comfortable in his office, and left me feeling informed and empowered in my teeth knowledge! The guy has a sense of humor, and didn’t make me feel silly for asking plenty of questions. I had been going to another popular dentist in Tooele county for years, but making the switch to a different clinic was the best thing I’ve done for me and my teeth 😇 Dr. McConnell is someone I’m willing to drive 40 minutes to see since I live in SLC now.

Amazed that we have such a competent, caring, professional crew here in our small community. I’ve seen both Dr James McConnell and Dr Jamie McConnell, and I would easily recommend them to even the most particular patient. Our daughter was a patient at Primary Children’s hospital during her entire childhood. Dr James McConnell filled in all of the gaps for me in her dental care. Most of the time I found myself somewhat confused as I tried to map out my daughters craniofacial surgery schedule and post operative care. When I couldn’t get the information I needed from our surgical team at primary’s, Dr. McConnell was my go to. On more than one occasion I was praised for proactive/preventative care that eased my daughter’s pain in her journey of 16 childhood surgeries. In almost every instance that praise came because of something Dr McConnell helped us with. This incredible father/son team is a gift to Tooele County. Brilliant, kind and totally committed to their patients. Perfect choice for our family’s dental care!

We just moved to the area and we are pleased with how welcoming and supportive this practice is. I was able to set up an appointment for my husband, daughter and myself all around the same time so we could be seen together. They were so supportive of my husband’s anxiety around dental work and my daughter’s first trip to the dentist was not at all what I expected. She didn’t cry or seem scared and they were so accommodating. The dentist explained everything hi by to her and she got to watch a movie while they cleaned her teeth. This is a great place and will be our family’s dentist from now on!

This was a walk-in after an assaul. X-rays were taken and an exam done. The front desk staff was so supportive and kind. She helped get insurance info so the upfront cost was not too high. Both Doctors did a check-up and collaborated. I had full faith and trusted the opinion of both doctors independently, but I felt at ease that they were both willing to take a moment and look.We left informed, for the short & long term, with next steps and referrals. An amazing experience with well informed doctors and a team that works seamlessly.

I recently had a chipped tooth repaired. The doctor did an amazing job! He matched the color of the tooth perfectly, which was important to me since the tooth can be seen easily in the front of my mouth. He also made sure that it felt absolutely perfect and normal before I left! I'm very happy with the outcome!

I love taking my kids here. All the staff is always so kind and makes them feel comfortable. They love going to the dentist!
I had a positive first time experience! I had a toothache on Saturday where most places were closed and they were able to squeeze me in on the same day! They were so friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable there. I plan on making this my permanent place to go for my dental care.
My wife has been going here for some time. I have yet to see him. He seems to truly care about his patients and goes the extra mile to ensure they are happy. The staff is also very polite and they all actually remeber patients names.
When I arrived they got me in and out. Very satisfied with the prompt service!

Had a TMJ issue and Dr McConnell saw me right away. He was thorough, took an x-ray and explained my problem and what I would needed to do for it. I left after 15 minutes and stopped by the front desk to see what I owed and they told me - No Charge. Wow, don’t see that kind of service very much these days.

After moving to Tooele, UT I chose McConnell Dental and after muiltiple visits it was the right choice. The staff is friendly and they are willing to work out payment plans if your in a bind. I had to get several fillings and a crown and I have zero complaints about the work that has been done so far. Definetly would recomend them!
Great experience always friendly and on top of everything
I had an emergency and Dr. Jamie McConnell went in on a Saturday to help me. He was very kind and never once complained about being there, although I felt bad needing him on a weekend. He took his time and explained everything to me, kept checking how I was doing and answered all my questions. After, he called both Sunday and Monday to check on me and make sure I was doing OK. When a doctor is willing to take their personal time to check in on a patient or help them, while being kind and thoughtful, they are a 10- star doctor in my opinion.

The staff at McConnell Dental is amazing. Between the front office, the hygienist, the assistants, and the doctors, I always feel like I’m part of the family!!!
Such a sweet and kind staff. However, I felt like I was more at a doctor’s office than I was at the dentist. They took my blood pressure. They were very thorough. So much that the hygenist pointed out all of the scars on my face and asked where they came from and then she wrote it down. It took up most of my appointment. I didn’t get time for a cleaning. They suggested a deep clean. Instead of them wanting to do a whole mouth deep clean in one appointment, they wanted to split the cleaning appointments in half. One appointment for half of my mouth and another appointment for the other half. So I will have a total of 3 appointments. Nobody really has time for all of that. This is new to me because most dentist clinics don’t do this. I have never had anyone take my blood pressure at a dentist appointment before. I have never had anyone take notes on the scars are markings on my face. My husband gets deep cleanings all the time at a different clinic. They clean his whole mouth in one appointment not two. It’s very different. At least I know they care. They were extremely kind. So that is a plus!👍🏽
I was an out of town visitor with an urgent problem. My sister recommended Dr McConnell. I called for an appointment and was able to get the same day. The staff was great. Dr McConnell explained all options available to me. Thorough recommendations to deal with my problem as my stay here was not long enough for a permanent fix. He advised me to call “him” if my problem got worse before my return home and he had a plan to help. I left the office relieved and confident they would be there if I needed them. Thank you.

Really nice and professional and didn't blow smoke or try to take me for everything I've got reasonable priced and I almost didn't even feel the extraction it was almost pain free compared to what I could remember of it hurting pretty bad.i really like this place and McConnell great guy from what I can see would recommend anyone looking for good price and just good at what he does for sure no questions there.ill be back for sure.

The staff is very friendly and professional. They make going to the dentist as pleasant as possible. My appointment today was much longer than planned. There were some problems with equipment used in my implant procedure. At all times the dentist and the staff remained focused and patient as they worked through the problems encountered. There was a good outcome.

Everyone there is amazing to be around, knows what they’re doing, and works together so cohesively; it’s like a well-oiled machine. I’ve been a pt. of both of the dentists there and I have nothing negative to say. I even had to bring one of my children once because my babysitter fell through. They took it in stride and weren’t bothered at all. I will only stop attending McConnell Dental if I move.

TL;DR: Dr. McConnell and his team do great work at making you feel safe, informed, and confident! I would happily recommend him to friends and family. This was my second time at the McConnell office, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I went in feeling anxious about some tooth sensitivity thinking it was something bigger than it was. Jessie at the front desk was so helpful in getting me in as soon as possible and working with my schedule for future appointments- she never seemed bothered when I asked for more help. Grace walked me through every step of the x-rays and made me feel comfortable even when it’s a pretty uncomfy procedure. Dr. McConnell came in to go through the x-rays and was detailed with the explanations, gave me his undivided attention, wasn’t in a rush, made me feel comfortable in his office, and left me feeling informed and empowered in my teeth knowledge! The guy has a sense of humor, and didn’t make me feel silly for asking plenty of questions. I had been going to another popular dentist in Tooele county for years, but making the switch to a different clinic was the best thing I’ve done for me and my teeth 😇 Dr. McConnell is someone I’m willing to drive 40 minutes to see since I live in SLC now.

Amazed that we have such a competent, caring, professional crew here in our small community. I’ve seen both Dr James McConnell and Dr Jamie McConnell, and I would easily recommend them to even the most particular patient. Our daughter was a patient at Primary Children’s hospital during her entire childhood. Dr James McConnell filled in all of the gaps for me in her dental care. Most of the time I found myself somewhat confused as I tried to map out my daughters craniofacial surgery schedule and post operative care. When I couldn’t get the information I needed from our surgical team at primary’s, Dr. McConnell was my go to. On more than one occasion I was praised for proactive/preventative care that eased my daughter’s pain in her journey of 16 childhood surgeries. In almost every instance that praise came because of something Dr McConnell helped us with. This incredible father/son team is a gift to Tooele County. Brilliant, kind and totally committed to their patients. Perfect choice for our family’s dental care!

We just moved to the area and we are pleased with how welcoming and supportive this practice is. I was able to set up an appointment for my husband, daughter and myself all around the same time so we could be seen together. They were so supportive of my husband’s anxiety around dental work and my daughter’s first trip to the dentist was not at all what I expected. She didn’t cry or seem scared and they were so accommodating. The dentist explained everything hi by to her and she got to watch a movie while they cleaned her teeth. This is a great place and will be our family’s dentist from now on!

This was a walk-in after an assaul. X-rays were taken and an exam done. The front desk staff was so supportive and kind. She helped get insurance info so the upfront cost was not too high. Both Doctors did a check-up and collaborated. I had full faith and trusted the opinion of both doctors independently, but I felt at ease that they were both willing to take a moment and look.We left informed, for the short & long term, with next steps and referrals. An amazing experience with well informed doctors and a team that works seamlessly.

I recently had a chipped tooth repaired. The doctor did an amazing job! He matched the color of the tooth perfectly, which was important to me since the tooth can be seen easily in the front of my mouth. He also made sure that it felt absolutely perfect and normal before I left! I'm very happy with the outcome!
I had a very pleasant experience with McConnell Dental Care. I needed a new Dentist and they were close to home, so I decided to try them. I'm very happy that I chose them! The staff was exceptionally nice and competent. They answered all my questions and treated me so well! I have some "Dentist Anxiety"...and I felt very comfortable with the Doctor and staff. I was surprised that none of the dentist's offices I have previously gone to have given me any of the advice she gave me. Doctor McConnell is great as well.
